Okay, when David fell, all I could feel was his horror and jelly-coated faces and hands swarmed him like ants to a marshmallow. Great Hitchcock creepiness there for a bit!

Fun story. The two children freezing in place, a common cue done nicely here, sets us up for the strange event pulling us into David’s view. As Kevin pointed out, strong logic holds everything together as David questions his mind. The ending leaves me with a crooked smile.
